As we welcome new neighbors from around the globe, understanding how to communicate cross-culturally becomes essential. This includes but is not limited to appropriate salutations, non-verbal cues and body language, language barriers, cultural norms, attitudes, beliefs and much more.
Summer Volunteer Workshop Series: Practical
Join us to learn about the refugee resettlement program and supportive services that refugees are enrolled in. Topics include: housing, health insurance, cash & food support, employment, and other community resources like clothing closets and transportation services.
