Rochester Pastors Lunch
with Matthew Soerens and Liz Dong

As Christians, we affirm that the Bible is our top authority for engaging any difficult issue. When it comes to the topic of immigration, however, a recent LifeWay Research poll finds that just 12 percent of self-described evangelical Christians cite the Bible as the top influence in their views on immigration. As churches throughout our state and our country wrestle with how to respond to the complex issue of immigration, we need biblical guidance.
Join pastors and church leaders for a conversation with World Relief’s Matthew Soerens and Liz Dong.
- Examine how Scripture informs our response to immigrants and immigration
- Address common concerns and misconceptions about immigrants and refugees
- Discover how immigration presents unique missional and evangelistic opportunities for the Church
- Learn about recent policy changes
- And learn about resources and strategies for discipling churches on this issue and addressing the needs of immigrants & refugees in our communities.
This is a free event with lunch provided. RSVP required.
