Join us for an informative morning of learning from one another facilitated by a panel of Church Refugee Garden practitioners who will share insights from both small and large community garden programs across the Twin Cities.
The panel will address questions from attendees and share topics including:
· Lessons learned working with immigrant gardeners
· Best practices
· Things they would do differently if they were starting afresh
· Leadership models and structures for sustainability
This session is geared for those who are already engaged in church gardens, and those who are exploring a new garden program or adding a refugee/immigrant gardening component.
The session is free and all participants will receive free vegetable and flower seeds for the upcoming growing season.
