We are looking for a full-time (40 hours a week) Refugee Resettlement Specialist & Refugee Cash Assistance Eligibility Coordinator. This position assists newly arrived refugees with basic needs support and core social services. This position coordinates health insurance and health screenings for all newly-arrived refuges to Arrive Ministries and works with clients from the seven-county Metro Area to provide ongoing eligibility determination and case maintenance for beneficiaries of Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA), a public assistance program administered by Arrive Ministries. Each semester, we seek a part-time (10-25 hours/week) intern for the Immigration Legal Services Department. This Immigration Program Intern provides administration support to our accredited staff and may also assist our clients in filing refugee reunification paperwork with the US State Department. Summer 2019 internships have already been filled.
Arrive Ministries has many volunteer opportunities available such as assisting with refugee resettlement, helping refugees with transportation and appointments, tutoring English language learners, and working with our employment or immigration legal services departments.
