Classes offered by Arrive Ministries

English Classes

Learn everyday English conversation, reading, and writing skills
 
 
Winter English classes – Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-8 pm

All new students must attend a registration night on Tuesday, January 13th from 6pm – 8pm at Arrive Ministries Office at 1515 E. 66th St., Richfield
 

Employment Support

Interview Prep
Practice answering common interview questions and learn how to present yourself with confidence to have a great interview
 
3rd Wednesday of the month from 10am – 12pm
 
Resume Writing Class
Learn the key parts of a resume and build your own!

Community Resources

Make a Food Resource Plan

If you are worried about having enough food for your family, make a food plan with us. We’ll help you find ways to get free or cheap food.

Bus Orientation
A time of bus training with an employee of Metro Transit. Free bus cards will be given to workshop participants.

Money Skills

An introduction to banking, pay stubs, checking accounts, spending, and saving. Learn more about budgeting, managing expenses, borrowing, and setting financial goals.

USCIS 

Receive assistance in creating your own USCIS account and orientation on how to utilize all its features.

Housing in the U.S.

Finding an Apartment in the U.S.

Learn about how to find an apartment in the U.S, housing safety tips, and your rights as a renter.

Homeownership in the U.S.

For refugees and immigrants interested in homeownership, including steps to buying a home, homeownership resources, and key terms to learn.

Digital Literacy

Computer Basics Classes

This course teaches basic computer and device skills, including how to identify and use different devices and hardware, log on and off, and interact with screens and input tools. Students will also learn to manage files, control settings like audio and accessibility, check internet connection, and safely turn devices on and off.
