English Classes

Computer Basics Classes
Learn the basics of using technology with topics such as paying rent, applying for a job, and communicating with a child’s school, in addition to navigating the internet safely.

Participants who complete 3 computer classes could be eligible for a brand-new laptop.
US Citizenship Workshops

Learn and practice 100 U.S. History and Civics background questions
12 – 1 ½ hours classes
Session 1: Oct 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30 Nov 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20 (6-7:30 pm) - US Citizenship Reading and Writing Practice
Practice required reading and writing English vocabulary words in sentences for US Citizenship
4 – 1 ½ hours classes 6-7:30 pm

Session 2: Dec 9, 11, 16, 18 - Guide to USCIS (1 – 1 ½ hour class)
Learn the steps to logging in to the USCIS website and other helpful items on the website

U.S. Citizenship Prep Class
Learn and practice 100 U.S. History and Civics questions, N-400 Naturalization Application questions, and reading and writing in English.
This class is intended for Legal residents holding a Green Card for at least 4 years or 2 years if married to a US citizen and going to have their US Citizenship Interview in the next 12 months.
