[/pullquote]One of our Good Neighbor volunteers, John, organized a day of driving practice in his church’s parking lot at Berean Community Church.
There were five refugees from Congo, Syria, and East Africa who practiced their driving skills one balmy October day in Rochester.
“A lot of refugees struggle to get their driver’s license because it’s hard to find available vehicles and instructors to practice with. Many refugees really need a license if they want to work, since public transit isn’t very comprehensive in Rochester,” said Adam, Arrive Ministries Rochester Program Coordinator.
