We knew each other only as classmates but we never thought that one day we would be together.

Lay Ou came to the United States in 2013, two years before me. I came to the United States in 2015. His family settled in Oregon and my family moved to Minnesota.
After I had been in the United States for a couple of months I started used Facebook and we reconnected with each other on Facebook and started talking.
After a year of long-distance friendship, we started a romantic relationship.
We now have one son… and we have a happy family.
He came to live in my city of St. Paul. For two-and-a-half years we dated, and on October 14, 2018 we got married. We now have one son named Jasper and we have a happy family.”
