Our staff helping a family move in Fall 2019
I have an opportunity that I’d like to share. GiveMN.org has designated May 1-8 as #GiveAtHomeMN, a special opportunity to celebrate generosity and help organizations like Arrive Ministries.
We are asking our friends, donors and volunteers to help us live out God’s command to welcome refugees and immigrants as we provide housing, employment, resettlement and immigration services. Your support will help these services continue plus will ensure that our volunteer mobilizing and training efforts stay strong.
This week our staff is helping a family of eight who recently arrived from Afghanistan move into their new home. Helping this family find housing and access services during these challenging times requires real creativity. But, we got it all to work, and were especially thankful for some amazing volunteers who provided used furniture for this family! We are so blessed by the resilience of our staff and volunteers who remain focused on our mission to bring life transformation in the name of Jesus.
