Back by popular demand, Equip 2.0 will continue the conversations of building relationships cross-culturally. Our presenter, Stan Yoder will dig deeper into how worldview affects the communication and understanding of the Gospel. Plus, we’ll look into folk Islam and the influence of the world of spirits. We’ll also explore how loving Jesus needs to be the focus for discipleship.
Presenter
Stan Yoder and his wife Valli have served as full-time missionaries for over 40 years. The Yoders spent 10 years in Sierra Leone, West Africa working with regional Islamic tribes and 12 years in Kansas City, MO, reaching out to refugees with the love of Christ. Recently, Stan and Valli have focused their efforts on mobilizing churches to adopt unreached people groups and coaching workers in Africa and the Middle East.
