Arrive Ministries is a refugee resettlement agency providing
essential services and practical assistance to refugees and
immigrants to advance self-sufficiency.
As a Christian non-profit organization, we mobilize volunteers,
in partnership with local churches, to extend love and friendship
to our new neighbors to promote thriving in a new homeland.
Since 1988, we’ve resettled more than 12,000 refugees in Minnesota.
We are currently serving immigrant and refugee neighbors in four locations: Twin Cities, Rochester, St. Cloud, and Willmar.
On January 20, 2025, President Trump announced the suspension of the U.S. Refugee Resettlement Program. This policy change is a tragic injustice for thousands of refugees who are desperately seeking a safe place to rebuild their lives, including religious minorities facing prolonged persecution.
A Ukrainian family was able to come to the U.S. through a sponsorship program to get their daughter the medical care she needed.
Recently, joining me at the airport to witness these moments have been teams of volunteers who can speak the same language as those they’ll be welcoming. There’s a special beauty and richness when families are able to connect with volunteers in their heart language or share a similar culture with them.
