Volunteer Collaboration Forum
November 10, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
One of our values at Arrive Ministries is “Empowerment and learning from each other” (1 Thessalonians 5:11, Proverbs 27:17). As we walk alongside our refugee and immigrant friends we want to foster their personal capacity and learn about the unique ways God has made them and their culture.
Similarly, we want to empower and learn from other volunteers! As Arrive Ministries staff, we have the joy of learning alongside you as we encounter challenges, have questions, or don’t know what do. Especially in this season, we all have likely experienced these. Who is there better to ask questions of than each other?
Whether you have been meeting with your family for years or weeks, we welcome your voice! Join us for the opportunity to collaborate with other volunteers walking alongside our refugee and immigrant neighbors. For volunteers with RLM, AWELL, SAE, Homework Helpers, etc.!
We will have breakout groups based on your family’s ethnicity, which will likely include Afghan, Karen, and an African group (Somali, Congolese, Ethiopian, etc.)
Join us on Tuesday, November 10 , 6:30-8pm, via Zoom
